1000 Blank Cards

This is an interesting game that myself and my friends found a while ago. The game actually has no real rules and has no set rules. Those are designed by the players. The basic idea is to attempt to achieve a specific number of points using cards created on hand made cards on note cards.

You can check out the rules and more over at the games website: http://www.1000blankwhitecards.com/. Also checking out the Wikipedia Page might not be a bad idea.

The idea of the game is simple. You set up a certain point system. The idea is to achieve a specific number of them. You can play a single card a turn and draw one at the beginning of your turn. You start the game with X cards in your hand (we use 5). You also start with five blank cards per player. They can create a card at any time and place it in their hand.

Before playing you can create as many cards as you want and shuffle them into the deck of cards. This is how the deck is created. You don't want to create incredibly overpowered cards because that ruins the game. Also making overly weak cards is not worth it. Create any cards you want with any effects you want. Be creative. Remember you can always remove cards you don't like or find are unbalanced from the deck at any time.

Their are three types of cards that we use when my friends and I play. Standard cards, Instant Cards and Permanent ones. Instants may be played at any time in any number. Permanents are played like standard cards are and either a permanent or standard card may be played a turn. Standard cards are played on your turn after drawing. You can play one standard or permanent a turn.

Really these are just the rules we play by and you can change them in any way you like.

If you come up with any fun card ideas I have created a spreadsheet that gives some examples of cards and is free to play with. You can add any cards you like to it. Or, if you are lacking creativity use them to help build your deck. Here is the link: spreadsheet.

Enjoy the game.

Also if you need some note-cards I found some cheap ones on Amazon.
